Churches United in Care (CUIC) is a network of faith-based congregations committed to working together to address housing insecurity in the Fox Cities. Our mission is to build relationships among faith communities and those experiencing housing insecurity, while our vision is to demonstrate God's love and compassion through collaborative ministry that helps ensure safe, adequate, and affordable housing for all.
Our monthly meetings feature guest speakers from local, state, and national organizations who provide valuable insights into housing issues affecting our community and highlight innovative programs and partnerships. These presentations keep us informed, inspire new ideas, and strengthen our collective impact.
Each meeting also includes updates from member churches and community partners, creating opportunities to network, collaborate, and celebrate the important work being done throughout the Fox Cities. Our partners include nonprofit organizations, local government departments, and other agencies working to address housing needs.
In addition, CUIC facilitates the quarterly Faith Communities Housing Levers report-out meetings, which grew out of the 2023 Housing Summit held at United Church of Christ. These virtual gatherings bring together organizations and congregations to share progress, identify challenges, and coordinate efforts toward lasting housing solutions.
We warmly invite you to join us in this important ministry. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, September through May, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 803 E. College Avenue, Appleton. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for our neighbors by building relationships, sharing resources, and working toward a community where everyone has a place to call home.
